Priests of the Parish

The Parish is blessed to have our Priests

Fr Adrian McKenna-Whyte

Father David Howell

Fr Adrian has worked in both rural and suburban parts of the diocese for over twenty-one years and became Parish Priest in Corpus Christi, Brixton Hill in September 2013.  Prior to being ordained, Fr Adrian spent 12 years in NHS care management and has a Master’s degree in Health and Social Welfare studies.  In bridging parish and community issues, Fr Adrian serves as a Chaplain to the Metropolitan Police and currently acts as Chairperson for the Lambeth Multi-faith Action Group to promote the awareness of how people of faith help to shape the community around them.  Further afield from local needs, Fr Adrian is a member of the Board of Directors of London Catalyst (formerly the Metropolitan Hospital Sunday Fund) which is a Greater-London-wide grant making charity that supports the spiritual, health and social welfare needs of Londoners to improve the health and well-being of those most in need.  Fr Adrian also works in the Diocesan team for the on-going training and support of the spiritual, health and social welfare needs of the clergy and leads the annual Clergy Retreat programme for the Diocese.

In September 2016, we welcomed Father David as the new Assistant Priest.

Fr David Howell was born and grew up in Surbiton and attended the London Oratory School and then Christ Church, Oxford, where he read Classics. After university, he studied for the priesthood at the Venerable English College in Rome, completed a licence in Patristics at the Augustinianum and was ordained on 16th July 2016.
